Assistant Secretary for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor Affairs Tom Malinowski will travel to Paris, France from December 7-9. He will join U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power, who is leading the U.S. delegation to the 2016 Open Government Partnership Global Summit. Together with Ambassador Power, Assistant Secretary Malinowski will announce the launch of the Global Anti-Corruption Consortium, a transnational initiative to promote civil society’s role in anti-corruption efforts. He will also meet with representatives of partner governments and civil society during the visit.
