NA’s 2nd Ordinary Session delegates test run Laos-China Railway Lanexang Train

The National Assembly President Xaysomphone Phomihane and other delegates of the 2nd Ordinary Session of the 9th legislature of the National Assembly visited today the Laos-China Railway project and tested run Lanexang Train between Vientiane and Vangvieng, Vientiane Province.

The Lanexang Train has nine cars including one first class passenger car, one restaurant car and six second class passenger carriages. It is equipped with 720 seats and can be coupled with one another train.

Stretching over 400 km from Laos’ border with China in Luang Namtha to Vientiane, the Laos-China railway has 33 stations including 11 passenger-cargo stations, and one cargo station, located in Vientiane, and 284 intersections.
