PM expresses sympathy to Australia on major bushfires

Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith has sent a message of sympathy to his australian counterpart Scott Morrison over major bushfires in australia.

Dated Jan 7, 2020, the message read: I have learned of the worst bushfires in decades occurred in Australia which havecaused tremendous loss of livesand destroyed a huge number of homes and properties.

On behalf of the Government and people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and on my own behalf, I would like to express my deepest sympathy and condolences to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Australia, particularly to those families who have been affected by the severe bushfires.

I am confident that under Your Excellency’s leadership, the country and the people of Australia will be able to overcome this difficulty, recover the living condition and restore affected areas to normalcy soon.
