The show drew around 300 people all by invitation only including high ranking officials, diplomatic community, socialites and media.
More than 40 leading local and international fashion designers showcased their latest collections on runway as well as up and coming young designers project participating at the event.
“Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Lao Fashion Week, no doubt is known as the most important and most prestigious international fashion event in Laos, which has created professional platforms for Lao fashion designers to meet and establish networks with well known designers from the international stage,” said CEO and Founder of the Lao Fashion Week and Lao young Designers’ Project, Ms Pany Saignavongs.
“Over the past 10 years, the Lao Fashion Week has up-to-date produced 30 Lao young designers from our project,” added Ms Pany Saignavongs.
Designers Pop-Up Store, where products from various designers was open and on sale to general public from 10 am -10 pm 8-10 Sep 2019 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel
