witnessed Swiss Red Cross in the Lao PDR presenting anti-Covid-19 equipment to the Lao Red Cross Society.
“The equipment presented today have been intended to be given to Lao Red Cross branches in seven provinces namely Vientiane, Khammuan, Savannakhet, Saravan, Champassak, Xekong and Attapeu so that they can contribute to the prevention and containment efforts against the Covid-19 in the provinces,” said Swiss Red Cross Country Representative to the Lao PDR Jean Mark Tome.
The equipment, worth 131 million kip (over US$13,600), included Personal Protective Equipment – PPEs, hand gels, soaps, face masks, temperate testers, gloves, aseptic spray, and sprayers.
The handover took place at the Lao Red Cross Society in Vientiane between Swiss Red Cross Country Representative to the Lao PDR Jean Mark Tome and Vice President of the Lao Red Cross Society Sing Menolath in the presence of relevant officials of both sides.
